Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 October 2026

This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short because we collect very little.

01

Who is responsible

The operator of this website and controller of your personal data is [To be confirmed by the website owner], trading as Brains & Bones.

Registered address: [To be confirmed by the website owner]

Privacy contact: [To be confirmed by the website owner]

02

What we collect through the contact form

When you send an inquiry, we receive the information you enter: your name, work email, optionally your company, the type of help you're looking for, your project description, optionally your preferred timeline, and your confirmation that you've read this policy.

To protect the form against automated spam and abuse, we also store a one-way hashed version of your IP address together with the time of submission. We do not store the IP address itself.

Please don't include sensitive personal information in your message.

03

Why we use it and on what basis

We use your inquiry only to read it, reply to you and discuss a potential project. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract and our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries.

The hashed IP is used solely for spam and abuse prevention, based on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling or newsletters, and we do not sell it.

04

Service providers

Inquiries are stored in a managed cloud database provided by our hosting and backend infrastructure provider, which processes the data on our behalf. The website itself is served through a cloud hosting and content-delivery provider.

These providers may process data in data centres outside your country, including outside the EU/EEA. Where this happens, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses offered by the provider.

05

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless a longer period is required by law or an ongoing business relationship. Hashed IP data used for spam prevention is not used for anything else.

06

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [To be confirmed by the website owner].

07

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. See Cookies information for details.

08

Changes

If our data practices change, we will update this page and the date above.

Notice: this policy is pending legal review and owner verification of the details marked above before production launch.
